Naira Marley mocks FG, says he’s Nigeria’s problem

Controversial artiste, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has aimed a slight dig at the Federal Government as court resumes his trial on alleged fraud charges.

While announcing the title of his new single, 'Bad Influence' on Twitter, Naira Marley sarcastically claimed to be Nigeria’s problem. 
He said, “Naira Marley is the problem of Nigeria, not SARS, not police and not the government”.



In his series of tweets, the singer also said that if he was a bad influence, he was trying to figure our what influenced him to be bad. He wondered why his critics do not care to understand what made him who he is, saying he is a youth too.

The artiste’s comment came hours after Judge Nicholas Oweibo adjourned his ongoing trial until December 11, 2019.
Earlier, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission told the court on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, that it had retrieved damning evidence of fraud from Naira Marley’s iPhone, laptop.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission arrested Naira Marley on Friday, May 10, 2019, and subsequently charged him with 11 counts bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit Credit Cards, and Fraud.
