Veteran Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus took to her Instagram page to gush over her daughter Angelica as she graduated from high school yesterday June 25. In her Instagram post she also said that Angelica graduated as her school's class valedictorian and she has been awarded a scholarship by Columbia University which is a private Ivy League research university in New York City.  Her Instagram post reads: "My beautiful daughter @angelicatooni graduated high school today. I am such a proud mum right now. She didn't only get a scholarship to @columbia she is also #valedictorian of the class of 2020."

American Singer Justin Bieber has filed a defamation lawsuit worth $20million against two women who went on social media to accuse him of sexual assault. In the $20million defamation lawsuit Bieber filed against the two Jane Does which Twitter handles are @ItsnotKadi and @danielleglvn, his lawyers are saying that the accusations against him are "factually impossible, and disproven both by indisputable documentary evidence and the individuals' own admissions." The lawsuit claims that the some "fraudulently schemed to seek attention and fame by maliciously posting despicable, blatantly false, fabricated, defamatory accusations that Justin Bieber engaged in sexual assault." He went on to claim in the suit that "it is abundantly clear that these two individuals are trying to capitalize on the climate of fear permeating the entertainment industry." The Governor of Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife Edith Okowa have gone into self isolation due to one of their daughters who has recently tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Governor Okowa disclosed this news on his Instagram page on Friday June 26. Other news agencies have also attested to the news. This is what the governor wrote on his Instagram page: "Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, on-line with the laid down procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated." This news comes hours after the death of former Oyo state governor's (Ajimobi) death. Ajimobi died of the novel COVID-19. The lawsuit by US President Donald Trump filed to stop the publication of tell-all book by John Bolton, who was Trump's third national security adviser has been rejected by the court. It was struck out by a federal judge. Botlon was national security adviser for President Trump between April 2018 and September 2019, when he resigned but Trump claims he fired Bolton. Tray Savage who was signed to Chief Keef's record label died on Friday June 19. He died at aged 26. His death has been confirmed by TMZ and Billboard. According TMZ who were the first to break the news, Tray (born Kentray Young) was shot as he was driving around South Side in California. It was when he was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Canter that he was pronounced dead by Doctors there. Due to his death his family, friends and record label crew have been thrown into mourning.
