Prince William will be Prince Harry's best man at his wedding to Meghan Markle next month


Kensington Palace just announced that Prince Harry has asked his older brother Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, to be his best man at his wedding to Meghan Markle next month,

The Palace said that Prince William is "honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th."

Harry served as best man to William at his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011 and it was widely expected that the Duke would play the same role for his younger sibling this year. 

Earlier this week, Kensington Palace announced that 19-year-old cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the first black musician to win the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year award, would be performing at the ceremony alongside Karen Gibson and the Kingdom Choir, considered one of the top ensembles in the country.

Prince Andrew Claims He Offered To Help Epstein's Prosecutors Three Times

The Duke of York's lawyers have rejected claims by US prosecutors that he has not cooperated with the inquiry into sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, insisting he has offered to help. US officials previously accused him of providing "zero co-operation". But in a statement, Prince Andrew's legal team said he offered help on "at least three occasions". The lawyers suggested the US Department of Justice was seeking publicity rather than accepting the offer of help. But US Attorney Geoffrey Berman said the duke had repeatedly declined federal investigators' requests to conduct an interview and had "unequivocally" stated he would not come in to answer questions.
