Cristiano Ronaldo denies reports he secretly wed Georgina Rodríguez

Cristiano Ronaldo has shot down reports that he wed his long-term girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez in a low-key ceremony in Morocco.
On Wednesday evening, speculation was rife that the footballer, 34, had quietly tied the knot with the 25-year-old former shop assistant, following a report from Novella 2000 magazine in Italy, where Ronaldo plays for Juventus FC.
But sources close to the formidable sportsman have denied the rumours, branding all talk of the purported late August ceremony 'fake news'.

Speculation of a wedding comes just weeks after Ronaldo, who has been dating Georgina since 2016, revealed plans to marry the brunette beauty - which he insists would be his mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro's dream.
Speaking to Piers Morgan, he said: 'She helped me so much. Of course I’m in love with her. We’ll be (married) one day, for sure. It’s my mum’s dream as well.'
