‘Power’ actor and singer, Rotimi says visiting Nigeria is life-changing


Rotimi Akinosho, who stars as Andre Coleman in a popular TV show, ‘Power’, and who doubles as a singer has described his visit to Nigeria as a life-changing experience.

“Being in Nigeria is a life-changing experience. It’s important to go home. A country filled with Kings & Queens,” he wrote on his Twitter days after arriving in Nigeria.

The actor said though a lot of people are just seeing him now as a singer, he has been singing long before taking the role in ‘Power’.

He went on saying that acting in ‘Power’ was his discovery phase as it gave him the opportunity to showcase his acting abilities to the world.

The entertainer, who doubles as an actor and singer arrived in Nigeria on Friday, November 15, 2019.

  On Friday the 4 th of October, "Joker: Folie à Deux" introduced audiences to Lee Quinzel, Lady Gaga's interpretation of Harley Quinn, the Joker's love interest from the DC comics.   Gaga explained in a recent interview that she had to modify her typical approach to performing for the movie, which is both a musical and a dark love story between Joker, also known as Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), and her character.   "I had to completely set aside all the showmanship, bravado, and natural Gaga elements that I normally bring to the stage," said Stefani Germanotta, also known as Lady Gaga.   The 13-time Grammy-winning singer, who also won an Oscar for her original song "Shallow" from the 2018 film "A Star is Born," even abandoned her usual singing techniques for her latest role.
