A lawsuit Has Been Filed Against Garth Brooks by a Former Hair-And-Makeup Artist Who Alleges Sexual Assault and Battery

  A lawsuit has been filed against Garth Brooks, the country music star, by a woman identified as "Jane Roe." The woman claims she worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist for Brooks and accuses him of sexual assault and battery. According to the complaint, filed in a California state court on Thursday and obtained by multiple media outlets, the alleged sexual assault and battery incidents involving Garth Brooks took place in 2019. The woman claims she was raped by Brooks during a work trip. In a statement to CNN on Thursday, Brooks said he had been facing threats, lies, and extortion attempts, with people demanding large sums of money from him. Brooks said, "Any payment used to silence someone, no matter the amount, is hush money. That suggests I am admitting to behavior I am incapable of – reprehensible acts that no human should ever do to another."   On Friday the 4 th of October, "Joker: Folie à Deux" introduced audiences to Lee Quinzel, Lady Gaga's interpretation of Harley Quinn, the Joker's love interest from the DC comics.   Gaga explained in a recent interview that she had to modify her typical approach to performing for the movie, which is both a musical and a dark love story between Joker, also known as Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), and her character.   "I had to completely set aside all the showmanship, bravado, and natural Gaga elements that I normally bring to the stage," said Stefani Germanotta, also known as Lady Gaga.   The 13-time Grammy-winning singer, who also won an Oscar for her original song "Shallow" from the 2018 film "A Star is Born," even abandoned her usual singing techniques for her latest role.

  The federal sex trafficking case against Sean "Diddy" Combs has been reassigned to Judge Arun Subramanian.  Subramanian, a former law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and a civil litigator at Susman Godfrey, was nominated by President Joe Biden in 2022 and took the bench in 2023. The reason for the reassignment is unclear.

Phyno Dismisses Comparisons to Olamide, Stating They Are Brothers

  On Friday, October 4, 2024, a user with the handle @TheDamiForeign posted images of Nigerian indigenous rappers,  Olamide  and  Phyno  with an open-ended question thrown to the public.   The post asked, "Who is the top rapper, Phyno or Olamide?" and promptly ignited online debate. Some argued that both artists are relevant and outstanding in their own way, while others supported one or the other. However, the ' Do I'  crooner was displeased on seeing the post and wasted no time in expressing his disapproval. Responding to the post, he wrote, " Yo!!! Tf is wrong with u guys for God sake .. stop putting me up against my brother or anybody else for that matter . Do your banter with someone else .. na ala adi agba unu.. wtf."

Judi Dench Expresses Her Sorrow Over Maggie Smith's Passing

  Dame Judi Dench has expressed her grief following the death of her close friend, Dame Maggie Smith.     During the Cheltenham Literature Festival, actor Brendan O'Hea asked Judi Dench about Dame Maggie Smith. He also mentioned the passing of Judi's husband, actor Michael Williams, and asked her to clarify her previous comparison of grief to petrol.   "I suppose because the energy that's created by grief...," she replied, before cutting her answer short, apparently lost for words.   Near the end of the session, O'Hea hesitated before saying, "I know this might be a sensitive topic, given the recent loss of your dear friends Maggie Smith and Barbara Leigh-Hunt." Leigh-Hunt, an Olivier Award-winning actress, passed away last month at the age of 88. She and Dame Judi had appeared together in the 1992 BBC sitcom As Time Goes By. O'Hea then mentioned a previous explanation that Dame Judi had given about coping with loved ones' death

  Popular Nigerian actor Saheed Balogun has experienced a profound loss with the passing of his daughter Zeenat. The actor announced the tragic news on Saturday through his verified Instagram account, posting a solemn image of a candle surrounded by flowers and accompanied by sorrowful emojis. His colleague, Ronke Oshodi Oke, later confirmed the devastating news on her Instagram account. Posting an image of a candle, she wrote, “No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you @saidibalogun during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you.” As of the time of this report, the cause of Zeenat Balogun’s death remains unknown.  

Davido Has Shared How He and Amaju Pinnick Resolved Their Dispute

  Nigerian artiste, David Adeleke, popular known as Davido, has revealed how he and former President of Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Mr. Amaju Pinnick settled their differences.                     Remember that Mr. Amaju Pinnick, the organizer of the popular show "Warri Again," had filed a lawsuit against Davido for not appearing at the 2023 edition of Warri Again, held at Brownhill Colloseuim, Ogunu - Warri. Speaking in Warri, Delta State, on October 5, during a courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the famous music sensation apologized for missing the "Warri Again" show. He explained that he had been unable to attend due to a late-night meeting with family elders.
